e story line:
Berlin 1930s: it's the most deliciously degenerate place and time the 20th century has known. Glittering in this giant boudoir of rot and romance is a cabaret called the Kit Kat Klub, where a fiendish and seductive Emcee holds court, and a brazen bevy of cabaret girls and boys holds your rapt, scandalized attention.
Enters earnest, wide-eyed American writer, Clifford Bradshaw, looking for inspiration but stumbling over love instead – in the feisty, eccentric person of Sally Bowles, an English chanteuse with a live-for-the-moment desperation and questionable taste in nail polish. Clifford also befriends Ernst Ludwig, a seemingly helpful German with something literally up his sleeve.Clifford and Sally are not the only lovers in this heartbreaking musical. There is Fräulein Schneider, a lonely landlady with tenants of dubious and rather tawdry occupations (including one Clifford Bradshaw), and there is her stalwart suitor Herr Schultz, an elderly gentleman whose method of courtship involves exotic tropical fruit...But in their fragmenting world where glamour is often indistinguishable from danger, and the shadow of evil looms ever larger, is it too much to ask for love to conquer all? e exotic is actually pineapple loh... unbelievable... haha... they even hav a pineapple dance... haha... v toot...
nice props, costumes but i dun really like e story... abit borin... but nevertheless, it was a great performance esp when u watch wif some1... hehe... however... didnt tink i would go 4 such musical... haha...
had swensen b4 e show... ordered sirloin steak, black pepper seafood pasta, us fries... dessert had mango madness n white chocolate blondie... was v full... haha...
